Alleged Drug Dealer Boss Arrested in Lopburi Linked to Drug Smuggling From North Thailand

On October 25th, 2023, the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) officials captured an alleged drug dealer boss at a residence in Khok Samrong, Lopburi, on the criminal court’s arrest warrant.

The alleged suspect was publicly identified only as Mr. Bun, 65, and faced charges of Conspiring with Two or More Persons to Possess and Distribute Controlled Substances (Methamphetamine) and Money Laundering.

According to the police report, on April 3rd, 2021, the CSD officials had intercepted drug trafficking en route from North Thailand to Lopburi with 60,000 pills of amphetamine. The drug smuggler was later publicly identified only as Mr. Chet who reportedly confessed his wrongdoings and said he had been paid an upfront payment of 10,000 baht for the smuggling from his boss.


The CSD officials further investigated and discovered a connection to Bun, the drug dealer boss in Lopburi.

Initially, Bun reportedly denied the accusation before being escorted to inquiry officers for further legal proceedings.
