German and South Korean Tourists Injured in Pattaya Motorbike Collision

A German man and a South Korean man sustained injuries when their motorbikes collided on Pattaya Third Road in the small hours of yesterday morning, October 23rd.

The collision transpired on Pattaya Third Road at the front of the Mouth-se bar & restaurant. Sawang Boriboon emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to find a German man and a South Korean man, along with one Thai woman, lying on the road. Their names were not immediately released by rescue workers.

The German and the Thai nationals suffered serious injuries, while the South Korean man was moderately injured. Emergency responders provided them with first aid before rushing them to the nearest hospital.

According to a CCTV recording, the South Korean tourist was riding a red Honda Wave motorbike with the Thai woman seated behind him when he reportedly cut off a German tourist who was traveling at high speed on a Yamaha X Max motorbike. The collision caused the three individuals to be thrown onto the ground, sustaining injuries.

Their motorbikes were kept at Pattaya Police Station. Pattaya police said they would summon both parties for legal action later when they made a recovery.
