Thai Man Attacks Migrant Worker After Motorbike Crash in Banglamung

A Thai man attacked a migrant worker after a motorbike collision with a motorbike sidecar in Banglamung.

The Nongprue Police were notified of the accident after midnight on Saturday (October 14th) on the Baan Lang Road in Nongprue. Before police arrived at the scene, a local resident recorded the scene after the accident.

According to the footage taken by the nearby resident, the motorbike sidecar driver appeared to apologize to the motorbike driver after the accident but the motorbike driver was enraged and smacked him in the face. Local residents tried to separate the two men and the motorbike sidecar driver kneeled down to apologize further with a wai to the motorbike driver, as seen below, but the driver kicked the motorbike sidecar driver.

When police arrived, both drivers were taken to the Nongprue Police Station. The motorbike sidecar driver is a male migrant worker while the motorbike driver is a Thai man. Police are continuing their investigation for further legal action. The names of the men were not released however by police.

As for the cause of the accident and in regards to fault, that is also still under investigation by Nongprue police.
