On Saturday, 7th October, the Hand to Hand Foundation held the first annual bike or walk event around Lake Maprachan. Fifty seven people started from The Cycle Hub on bikes, skateboards, on-foot, and also in strollers.
Participants made their way around the lake at their own pace and in their own style. People cycled or walked around the lake as many times as they wanted and there were lots of water stations along the way. Everyone had a great time and stayed healthy.
Ten people from the Hand to Hand Foundation will finish their 800km bike ride on October 15th. They have been busy cycling 50km a day for 16 days to help raise money for rice, milk and pampers. If you would like to support the ride you can donate through:
