Indian Tourist Pleads for Pattaya Police to Help Recover Lost Wallet in Taxi with over 2,000 US Dollars Inside

At 1:00 AM, on October 7th, 2023, Mr Jay Pravinkumar Patel, 28-years-old and Indian, and his Thai friends reported to Pattaya Police officers a forgotten wallet on a ride-hailing service from an application.

Mr Jay and his friends told the police officers that they called a ride-hailing service from a famous application from Soi Buakhao to Walking Street, South Pattaya. However, Mr Jay left his wallet with 2,200 cash in US dollars and important documentation in the car and could not contact the driver ever since.


Sources interviewed the victim, he said that he felt terrible and wished the driver would return his belongings soon.
The police officers checked the plate number, phone number, and driver’s name, but could not contact the driver.

A further investigation is reportedly taking place as of press time.
