Sudden Storm Hits Pattaya Beach Last Night Near Pattaya Police Station

Pattaya

A light storm formed on Pattaya Beach on Thursday night, October 5th, near the Pattaya Police Station and caused minimal disruption.

Late on the night of October 5th, a brief but heavy rainfall struck Pattaya after the sweltering hot weather.

There were no reports of significant flooding, and the rain lasted for just over half an hour before subsiding and becoming sporadic.

However, reports indicated that a dust and wind storm occurred on Pattaya Beach near the Pattaya Police Station, causing strong winds that blew branches, leaves, debris, sand, and even orange plastic barriers all over the place.

The storm also forced tourists to run for safety and seek refuge until it subsided, which occurred shortly thereafter.

A bystander recorded a video of the sudden storm and posted it on Facebook, which received thousands of reactions.

The occurrence did not cause harm to anybody, but it did apparently scare some people and went heavily viral on social media.
