Thailand Welcomes Chinese and Kazakh Tourists Through Visa Free Program Starting Today

National –

Thailand has welcomed Chinese and Kazakhi tourists through a visa waiver policy, starting today, September 25th until February 28th, 2024.

The Royal Gazette website has released a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand regarding the list of countries whose citizens, holding passports or substitute travel documents, are temporarily exempted from visa stamping for tourism purposes in the Kingdom of Thailand.

This exemption applies to tourists from the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Kazakhstan, allowing them to enter Thailand without a visa for a period not exceeding 30 days as a special case. This policy is effective from September 25th, 2023, to February 28th, 2024.
