Sedan Collides with Fuel Tanker Truck in Pattaya, One Man Injured

Pattaya –At 10:00 P.M. on September 22nd, 2023, the Pattaya radio call center received a car accident report on the 7th Motorway, Pong subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi province.

A rescue squad was urgently dispatched to the scene and found that a sedan had collided with the rear of an 18-wheel fuel tanker truck.

An unidentified wounded man was found stuck inside the car, the emergency squad broke into the vehicle and successfully rescued the man, performing first aid before urgently transferring him to a nearby hospital.

The fuel tanker truck’s driver, Mr. Bancha Chaiyasingh, 32-years-old, informed the rescue squad that he was delivering fuel to a gas station in North Pattaya. Suddenly, a loud colliding sound was heard behind his truck, he then stopped the engine and called Pattaya police. Bancha was uninjured.

As of press time Pattaya police were still investigating the exact cause of the accident.
