Chonburi Governor Launches Big-Cleaning Project at Banglamung Canal and Sukhumvit Road

Chonburi Governor Mr. Thawatchai Srithong spearheaded a collaborative effort between the Chonburi administration and private entities to enhance the Banglamung Canal and Sukhumvit Road in Banglamung today, September 13th.

The operation, in alignment with the “Clean City Development” initiative aimed to transform Banglamung district into an orderly, clean, and safe district.

According to Mr. Thawatchai, Chonburi is a major tourist destination that attracts visitors from all over the world. It is also a thriving industrial center with a large population of residents and workers. The initiative seeks to ensure that major thoroughfares and water sources like Sukhumvit Road and Banglamung Canal maintain a high standard, providing a pleasant experience for all travelers.

Participants in the event divided into teams to carry out various tasks, such as road cleaning, repainting traffic signs, and managing communication cables. Their combined efforts contributed significantly to the overall enhancement and efficiency of the area, concluding at noon on the same day.
