Pattaya —

A Thai woman passed away in front of her husband after she ran away from her house in Pattaya in the early morning of Monday, August 21st. Her husband said the woman was sick and addicted to alcohol.

Sawang Boriboon rescue services were alerted to a woman collapsing on a road in Soi Thung Klom Tan Man 29 in the city of Pattaya at 2:06 AM. They rushed to the scene along with police officers from the Nongprue police station.

The woman, identified as 42-year-old Ms. Khamai Sangbut, was found dead on the ground, with no visible signs of injuries or foul play. Her husband, 49-year-old Mr. Prachuab Yingyongyuen, was waiting for the authorities to arrive at the scene, saying the victim had run away from their house in the middle of the night for an unknown reason.

Mr. Prachuab went on to say that he rode a motorcycle out to look for his wife and then discovered her lying by the roadside. Tragically, Mr. Prachuab was about to take her home when she took her last breath and passed away.

The husband stated that he was unaware of his wife’s cause of death, but he mentioned that she was addicted to alcohol and had stopped consuming it two days prior after she felt ill.

Nongprue police were waiting for the results of the woman’s autopsy from Banglamung Hospital.
