Intoxicated Chinese Woman Taken to Police Station After Car Crash in Pattaya Area

An intoxicated female Chinese driver was taken to the Pattaya City Police Station after a car crash in the Pattaya area.

Captain Arnon Mahakitassawakun of the Pattaya City Police was notified of the incident around midnight on Friday (August 18th) on a small road behind the Tai He Temple in Nongprue. They and the Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the damaged SUV and a damaged power pole.

The driver, who Pattaya police identified as MISS WANG ZHIMIN, 44, a Chinese national who was heavily intoxicated and could not walk due to her level of intoxication, was taken out from the SUV by Good Samaritans. She refused to go to a hospital. Miss Wang was taken to the Pattaya City Police for an alcohol test and for further legal action.

She is expected to be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and property damage related charges.
