Hostess and Karaoke Bars in Pattaya Inspected to Prevent Underage Staff and Patrons

Hostess Bars and Karaokes in Pattaya were randomly inspected to prevent underage users and staff.

Lieutenant Colonel Surachet Aneksri of the Pattaya City Police told The Pattaya News that on Friday night (August 18th) they randomly inspected karaokes and hostess bars in Pattaya to prevent underage staffers and customers as well as to prevent illegal drugs and opening past legal closing times.

Pattaya Police inspected ‘Damond Club Pattaya’ and ‘Jacky Karaoke’, both of which were found to be following the rules and operating legally. No underage staff or customers were found and nobody was found with illegal drugs in urine drug tests.

Lieutenant Colonel Surachet told The Pattaya News that they are also making sure that business operators check staffers and customers ages and open only during the legal times of operation. He also thanked the venues checked for operating legally while promising more venue inspections would be forthcoming.
