Koh Larn Sees Influx of Tourists as Thailand Enters First Day of Long Holiday

Pattaya —

Pattaya‘s picturesque island of Koh Larn has already started to see some bustle as Thailand entered the first day of the 6-day-long holiday period today, July 28th.

The Pattaya News reporters reported from the field at the Bali Hai Pier that the pier was particularly abuzz with tourists today, especially domestic tourists who planned to visit Koh Larn by boarding the ferry.

Today, July 28th, marked the 71st birthday of Thailand’s current monarch, King Vajiralongkorn. Apart from being a national holiday, the day also marked the first day of the delightful 6-day-long holiday for most Thai people, from July 28th to August 2nd.

Pattaya’s Koh Larn has once again proven to be one of the most popular holiday spots, with around 2,000 to 3,000 hotel rooms on the island already fully booked since the beginning of this month, reports.

Due to the sudden surge in demand for accommodations, considerate hotel operators have warned tourists who make reservations on social media pages to check the authenticity of the pages before making any financial transfers.
