Two Thais Arrested with Illegal Guns at South Pattaya Condo

Two Thai men were nabbed for possessing illegal guns at their condominium complex in South Pattaya.

At 00:06 AM on July 20th, Mr. Nathanat Anusit, 26, and Mr. Navy Charoensuk, 34, were arrested by Pattaya police at an unnamed condo. The police seized from them a Smith & Wesson .38 revolver and six rounds of ammunition.

According to the arresting police, they acted in response to a tip from an undercover informant that someone was offering to sell the above firearm for 33,000 baht. Subsequently, the arresting police agreed to buy the gun for 30,000 baht and told the seller to meet at the South Pattaya condo.

When the two suspects arrived with the gun, the police uncovered themselves and arrested them. The two Thai men were taken to the Pattaya police station where they faced charges for illegal possession of a firearm.
