A dead sea turtle was found stuck in a fish trap in the waters of Pattaya.
A Thai man who goes by the name of “Tai Tar Pattaya” on Facebook posted a video clip of his discovery of a dead sea turtle trapped in a fish trap on social media on Saturday, July 15th.
The unfortunate animal was found off Koh Pai in Pattaya. The man did not state the species of the turtle but said it was already dead when he raked the trap in for a closer look.
The turtle carcass as well as the abandoned trap were brought onto the boat and taken back to the shore. Tai Tar Pattaya wrote on Facebook that he wanted the fishermen to retrieve their unused fishing nets or traps because they could kill sea animals.
