Pattaya Woman Suffers Injuries After Running Red Light Rushing to Get Her Kid to School

A female motorcyclist in Pattaya suffered minor injuries when she ran a red light and was crashed into by a pickup truck. The woman claimed she was hurrying to get her daughter to school.

Sawang Boriboon rescue workers found the injured woman, Ms. Surat Layappai, of unknown age, in the middle of the road on Tuesday morning, July 4th, after receiving a call that there was a traffic accident on Sukhumvit Road in the Naklua area.

Ms. Surat was discovered with her young daughter dressed in a school uniform. The woman sustained superficial injuries and had pain in her neck. She explained to local media that she was crashed into by a pickup truck after she purposely ran a red light. She claimed she was in a hurry to send her kid to school.

The truck suffered minor damage to its front end. The victim along with her uninjured daughter were transferred to Banglamung Hospital for a medical check.
