UPDATE: Banglamung Police Pledge to Catch Serial Thieves

Chonburi —

Banglamung police pledged to put their best effort into catching serial thieves who had been stealing from residents within Soi Suk Somboon in the Banglamung district.

First our previous story:

Thieves are still on the run after multiple break-ins and stealing of copper wires in Soi Suk Somboon in Banglamung district.

Now for our update:

The Superintendent of Banglamung Police Station Pol. Col. Navin Sinthurat visited victims of thievery within Soi Suk Somboon in Banglamung district on Saturday, July 1st, to provide reassurance and comfort to the residents.

He said Banglamung police are diligently tracking down the perpetrators. The reason it might take some time to catch them is because the suspects wore motorcycle helmets and used unregistered vehicles to commit the crimes and evade capture.

Pol. Col. Navin added more frequent patrols by district patrol officers will be conducted and officers will also install more CCTV cameras within the alley.

After the police chief’s visit, one of the victims, Ms. Nampeung Iamsiri, 29, told The Pattaya News that she felt relieved after she had several restless nights guarding her house from the thieves. She also thanked all officers involved in the operation.
