Car Overturns Near Pattaya, Two Passengers Slightly Injured

In the early hours of June 29th, a car flipped over in the Banglamung district, resulting in minor injuries to two passengers.

The Banglamung Highway Police Station received a report of a car accident at 00:06 AM today. The incident occurred on Motorway Route 7, at kilometer marker 110+200, in the Takhian Tia sub-district of Chonburi province. The rescue team rushed to the scene to assess the situation.

The accident involved a blue Honda Jazz sedan with a Bangkok license plate. The car was reported to have overturned and collided with the guardrail. The vehicle suffered significant damage, with scattered car parts on the road. The rear left tire was found to be ruptured.

According to the rescue team, two individuals were injured in the incident. The first person, identified as Mr. Pasawee Nakham, 20, sustained injuries to his right leg. The second person, Mr. Prommin Promma-in, 19, suffered minor injuries to his left arm. They both were transported to a local hospital.

Mr. Jamrat Chantar, 39, the driver, told The Pattaya News that while driving on the motorway at a speed of around 100 kilometers per hour, suddenly he lost control of the car, swerved, and collided with the barrier.

Then, the car overturned several times before crashing into a roadside guardrail. After the crash, Mr. Jamrat and his two passengers managed to crawl out of the car wreck, with Jamrat being the only one who did not suffer any injuries.

Police are investigating.
