Woman’s Freshly-Bought Motorbike Stolen by Thieves in Sattahip

A Thai woman lost her motorbike that she had just bought seven days ago to thieves in the Sattahip district.

Three male suspects wearing full-face black motorbike helmets were captured on CCTV cameras around 11:33 PM on June 26th, entering the Baan Eua-Athorn Na Jomtien Village in Na Jomtien sub-district of Chonburi province, and stealing a bike from the village.

According to the footage, the thievery took place in under 5 minutes. The victim and owner of the bike, Ms. Duangta Kaentong, 33, told The Pattaya News that she had parked her motorbike in the parking area of the village when her son came down and noticed it was gone.

Upon checking the security camera, Duangta realized her vehicle had been stolen by the three men who still could not be identified.

The victim subsequently filed a report at the Sattahip Police Station and was awaiting an investigation result. She emotionally revealed that she had just bought the bike seven days ago to drive to work.

One anonymous resident residing in the village also revealed that within one week, the suspected same culprits had committed motorbike thefts on four occasions in the past. They said they felt unsafe and wanted authorities to take immediate action.
