Three Pattaya Bar Workers Test Positive for Illegal Drugs During Police Raid

Pattaya —

40 Pattaya police officers inspected bars across the city last night, June 23rd, and uncovered three bar workers with illicit drugs in their systems.

The operation started around 10:30 PM and was led by deputy police chief of Pattaya Police Station Pol. Lt.Col. Surachet Aneksri.

Police aimed to ensure that all pub-goers, staff members, and business operators obey the rules, such as not taking drugs, overstaying their legal visas, or carrying weapons.

The inspected venues were randomly picked, according to Pol. Lt. Col. Suradet, and this time it landed on a bar named Bar Host 169, located in Soi Bongkot.

Upon inspecting the venue, authorities discovered that only two tables were occupied by customers while more than 20 staff members were present.

After segregating male and female individuals, the police proceeded to check their ID cards and conduct urine tests for drug substances.

As a result, three unidentified staff members happened to test positive for illicit drugs and were subsequently taken to the Pattaya station to undergo legal procedures.

Their names were not released to The Pattaya News.
