Pattaya Taxi Driver Returns Purse to Woman During Pattaya Community Pride Event

Pattaya —

In a heart warming act of kindness, a Pattaya Win driver returned a lost purse to a woman who dropped it while attending the Pattaya Pride Community event on June 10th.

The honest Win driver, Mr. Pravit Thitkratoke, 44, from Nakhon Phanom province, was participating in a Pride parade in Pattaya on Saturday when he came across a handbag containing valuable belongings, cash, and important documents dropped on the footpath.

The red women’s handbag also contained an ID card indicating that it belonged to Ms. Kasina Siripitakchai. Mr. Pravit then decided to walk over to the city mayor, Mr. Poramase Ngampiches, who was also present at the event, and handed over the bag to him in order to find Ms. Kasina.

Mr. Poramase had the event organizer call for Ms. Kasina. After awhile, Ms. Kasina showed up and received the bag from Mr. Pravit. She thanked him for his honesty, saying she felt grateful for the enjoyable time spent in Pattaya, despite the temporary loss of her handbag.

The mayor praised the Win driver in front of everyone and said people should help reinforce the reputation of Pattaya with this type of kind hearted act like him.
