Thai Girlfriend Stabs Foreign Boyfriend in the Leg in Front of Shocked Tourists in Pattaya

Pattaya —

During a heated girlfriend-boyfriend argument, a Thai girlfriend stabbed her foreign boyfriend in the leg and fled, leaving a knife lodged in his calf.

The injured foreigner, who could not be identified, had a kitchen knife stuck in his left calf when Sawang Boriboon rescuers arrived to aid him at 11 PM yesterday, May 4th.

The victim was found in a busy public area of Soi Buakhao in South Pattaya, Nongprue sub-district, Banglamung district, Chonburi province.

Eyewitnesses of the incident told The Pattaya News that the person who stabbed the man was likely his own Thai girlfriend who had fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Before the stabbing, eyewitnesses noticed the two arguing over something. The woman armed with a fruit knife tried to chase after the injured foreigner, while he hurled a chair at her. Eventually, he was stabbed in the calf before Good Samaritans came to stop the fight. The two then went their separate ways.

Pattaya Police are working on identifying the woman involved in the fight. The foreign man reportedly refused medical assistance and fled the site before police reached the location, refusing to meet with police officers or even wait for investigators to arrive.

Pattaya Police stated they would also work on identifying the man who was stabbed as they found it “odd” that he would flee the scene before law enforcement could arrive even though he was the victim.
