Two Teenagers Injured After Rival Teen Groups Brawl at Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya

Pattaya –

Two teenagers have sustained injuries after a brawl this morning involving almost twenty youth at the Bali Hai Pier, South Pattaya.

Emergency responders were notified of the incident after midnight (June 3rd) at the skateboard area located just to the side of the Bali Hai Pier.

First responders and the Pattaya News team arrived at the scene to find a group of teenagers aged around 14 to 18. Two injured people were found who were identified as Mr. Lin, 17, and Mr. Saen, 16. Their full names were withheld due to their ages.

Mr. Saen told the Pattaya News that an unidentified friend of his and a rival teenager had made an agreement to meet at the skateboard park to fight to settle a prior dispute.

However, when his friend fell to the ground during the one-on-one fight, a group of about 20 other teenagers jumped in and also attacked his friend. Mr. Saen tried to help his friend but was attacked too before the suspects eventually sped away.

The two injured teens were taken to a nearby hospital. Mr. Saen and his friend later filed a report to the Pattaya City Police with a video of the incident.

Pattaya City police are reviewing the footage and attempting to identify the other individuals involved. The incident brought many comments on social media suggesting the skate park be closed after dark to help prevent potential problems.
