Pattaya Woman Puts 5,000 Baht Bounty on Thieves Who Stole Her Motorbike

Pattaya —

A Thai woman in Pattaya put a 5,000 Baht reward on thieves who stole her motorbike that she had parked on the roadside in Soi 20 Pattaya-Naklua on Sunday, May 28th.

Mrs. Wanthong Abphet, a 54-year-old woman, revealed to The Pattaya News yesterday, May 31st, that her motorbike vanished just half an hour after she had left it on the roadside while heading to work in Soi 20 Pattaya-Naklua.

The Thai woman, who worked at a hotel in Pattaya, said the incident happened in broad daylight at 9 AM on Sunday. According to a CCTV recording of the area, two teenage men approached her black/red Honda Wave 110i motorbike and took it, and escaped to the Naklua area.

Mrs. Wanthong said to The Pattaya News that she was badly affected by the incident as she had to use the motorbike to travel from her residence to her workplace every day. Without it, she had to pay for a motorbike taxi service, which put an unnecessary financial burden on her wallet.

The woman urged the police to catch the thieves and retrieve her vehicle. She also promised a reward of 5,000 baht to whoever could help her find the motorbike.
