A Thai driver traveling from Chonburi’s Bowin sub-district to Rayong province plunged into a ditch in Banglamung district and suffered non-fatal injuries. The driver reportedly admitted that he had dozed off while driving.

A black Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck veered off Highway No. 331 near the Forest Department inbound to Sattahip district before crashing into a road railing and plunging into a ditch dividing the road. The accident occurred at 3 AM today, May 1st, in the Khao Mai Kaeo sub-district, Bang Lamung district, Chonburi.

Sawang Boriboon rescuers liberated the Thai driver, Mr. Sakchai Phleaplu, 43, who was trapped in his car wreckage. The man felt tightness in his chest, so he was transported to a nearby hospital.
