Over 100 law enforcement officers were deployed at 5:30 AM today to raid Pattaya’s Sawmill Community in the Banglamung sub-district of Banglamung district after the authorities were alerted by anonymous concerned citizens of heavy drug abuse in the area.

To cover the entire community, the officers were divided into four groups and went door to door to conduct drug tests on every resident. Seven men tested positive for illegal drugs and were taken into custody for further rehabilitation procedures. One meth pill and some drug related items were also found and seized.
