Banglamung Police arrested an alleged drug dealer and upon police searching the suspect’s house they found 37,530 meth pills and 1.3 kilograms of crystal meth.
The arrest took place on Thursday, February 23rd, near a railway in the Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung District, Chonburi. Banglamung Police told local media that they were launching a routine patrol when they ran into a black Honda Civic parked on the road beside the railway.

The suspect, identified by police as Mongkhon Sunglamom, 47, confessed to owning the illicit substance and also said he had more at his residence in Pattaya’s Soi Paniad Chang.
At Mongkhon’s home, police seized 37,530 meth pills hidden in eight bags and around 1.3 kg of crystal meth. During another questioning, the man revealed he had been imprisoned once and got into contact with a dealer inside the prison.
The man claimed when that when he was released, he was contacted by another dealer named “Jib” who had been providing him with drugs. The suspect, however, did not know his supplier’s real name or whereabouts.
Further investigation to identify Jib is ongoing. The alleged dealer is being charged with possession of illegal drugs with intent to sell.
