Local motorcyclist killed instantly after reportedly crashing into a car in the Pattaya area Saturday evening

Banglamung, Chonburi –

A motorcyclist was killed instantly after reportedly crashing into a car at Chaiyapornvitee in the Pong subdistrict of Banglamung district on Saturday evening, October 8th.

Nong Prue police and rescue volunteers arrived at the scene around 8:00 PM. after being alerted to the road accident. Upon arrival, a white SUV was found with a damaged front end. A wrecked blue-black motorcycle was spotted on the side of the road. The body of motorcyclist Rangsan Chadong, 35, was found lying nearby.

SUV driver Chaiyaporn Saewang told the police that the motorcycle was coming in the opposite direction and crossed into his lane before bumping into his car. However, a witness stated to law enforcement that the car driven by Chaiyaporn was trying to overtake and directly crashed into the motorcycle that was reportedly staying in its lane.

Inspectors continued to thoroughly examine the scene for more evidence and will examine the opposing claims of witnesses and those involved in the accident.

Meanwhile, the body of the motorcyclist was transferred to Banglamung hospital for identification and funeral rites by his relatives.
