Pattaya Mayor possesses 158 million baht in total assets, the NACC reveals

The newly elected mayor of Pattaya, Poramase Ngampiches, possesses 158 million baht in total assets, according to the Thai National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).

The NACC on Wednesday, September 14th, disclosed the list of assets and liabilities of Poramase Ngampiches, who was endorsed as Pattaya Mayor on June 13th, 2022, along with his spouse Mrs. Chanida Ngampiches and his minor son.

The three declared to the NACC that they have 157.97 million baht in total assets, of which 137 million baht belong to Poramase, 17 million baht to his spouse, and 2 million baht to his underage son. They also have a total debt of 541,718 baht.

According to the NACC, their assets consist of 1 million baht in cash, 26.93 million baht in savings, 44.48 million baht in investments, and 36.78 million baht worth of lands in Banglamung district, Sri Racha district, Sattahip district, Kaeng Krachan district in Phetchaburi province, and Mae Rim district in Chiang Mai province.

Finally, they own 24.68 million baht in houses and buildings, 4 million baht in vehicles, 12.72 million baht in concessions, and other assets such as watches, gold bars, and jewelry.

The information release by the NACC is standard for newly elected politicians.
