Security camera catches man allegedly stealing Pattaya rescue worker’s phone

Pattaya —

A security camera caught an unidentified man on a bike allegedly stealing a Pattaya rescue worker’s phone.

Puttinon Khunyotha, a 23-year-old rescue worker from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation, complained yesterday, August 2nd, to The Pattaya News that his phone, which he kept on his bike while he was busy directing traffic at the Lan Pho market, was stolen.

The victim said that he returned after finishing his work to find his phone missing, so he reviewed the security camera from a nearby building and discovered that a man on a bike wearing a helmet allegedly reached for his phone and took it away.

Puttinon carried on that he desperately wanted his phone back because it stored a lot of important information related to his work.

Before contacting The Pattaya News, Puttinon decided to file a report at the Banglamung Police Station, and according to the latest update, police have found the suspect’s bike at the Lan Pho market and impounded it for evidence. The suspect, however, remains at large, as of press time.
