Pattaya

Pattaya mayor Poramese Ngampichese on Saturday, July 23rd, personally visited the Pattaya International Windsurfing Cup 2022 that will last from July 23rd-24th on Jomtien Beach.

According to the mayor, this competition was made possible by four generous organizations: the Windsurfing Association of Thailand, the Pattaya Windsurfing Club, the Sports Association of Chonburi, and lastly the Sports Authority of Thailand.

The race is divided into two programs, which are the Thailand Windsurfing Championships and the International Windsurfing Cup 2022. Pro athletes (men and women) from nine countries maneuver expertly in the sea and compete to be the best windsurfer in Pattaya.

“This is a really good chance for our Thai athletes to test their skills on an international level,” Poramese stated during his visit. Thai windsurfers will also participate in the world championship stage in France in October as well.
