The physicians who inspected Mr. Tandon’s body reportedly suspected that the man may have died of a sudden cardiac arrest. According to his Indian younger brother Mr. Verma, 42, he and his brother arrived in Thailand for a vacation on July 12th and planned to return to India on July 19th. The men had boarded a speedboat to Koh Larn this morning and wanted to take a rest after a stroll at a restaurant but abruptly passed away.

Initially, his body was transported to a hospital for a thorough autopsy to clarify the cause of death. Pattaya police would also contact the Indian Embassy to have his body returned to India.
