Complete list of road closures for the Pattaya Marathon 2022 on July 16th-17th

The following is the list of the road closures that will be enforced during the Pattaya Marathon 2022 on July 16th-17th.

TPN suggests that due to the extensive number of roads closed in Pattaya and Jomtien, especially Sunday morning the 17th that unless one has a critical need to travel during the marathon times or an emergency that they wait until the events end to travel.

Saturday, July 16th, 2022 (Most road closures are 2 AM-730 AM, although some start at midnight)

  1. North Pattaya Road from 2 AM-730 AM (Car parking is not allowed)
  • Closing the route down to Pattaya Beach from the Parinya intersection to the Dolphin roundabout from 2 AM to 7:30 AM.
  • Closing the route on the inbound side of Sukhumvit Road from the Dolphin roundabout to the Parinya intersection from 2 AM to 7.30 AM or after the last runner has passed.

2. Pattaya Beach Road (Car parking is not allowed)

  • Closing the route from the Dolphin roundabout to the Wat Chai Mongkhon intersection from 2 AM to 7:30 AM.

3. Pattaya Second Road (Car parking is not allowed)

  • Closing the route from the Wat Chai Mongkhon intersection to the Dolphin roundabout from 2 AM to 7:30 AM.

4. Central Pattaya Road

  • Closing the route from the Tops supermarket intersection to Pattaya Beach Road on both lanes from 2 AM to 7:30 AM.

5. Pattaya Naklua Road

  • Closing the route from the Dolphin roundabout to the Soi Pattaya – Naklua 18 from 2 AM to 7:30 AM.

Sunday, July 17th, 2022 Most road closures are 2 AM to 1030 AM

  1. North Pattaya Road (Car parking is not allowed)
  • Closing the route down to Pattaya Beach from the Parinya intersection to the Dolphin roundabout from 2 AM – 10:30 AM. 

2. Pattaya Beach Road (Car parking is not allowed)

  • Closing the route from the Dolphin roundabout to the Wat Chai Mongkhon intersection from 2 AM to 10:30 AM.

3. Pattaya Second Road

  • Closing the route from the Jumbo intersection to the Wat Chai Mongkhon intersection from 2 AM to 10:30 AM.

4. Thappraya Road (Car parking is not allowed)

  • Closing one lane from the Jumbo intersection to the Thepprasit intersection from 2 AM to 10:30 AM.

5. Jomtien Second Road

  • Closing the right lane from the Thepprasit Intersection to the Sukhumvit-Jomtien Second intersection from 2 AM to 7:30 AM.
6. Sukhumvit Road
  • Closing two lances from the Sukhumvit-Jomtien Second intersection to the motorway intersection, Chonburi – Pattaya, from 2 AM to 9:30 AM.

7. Jomtien Beach Road

  • Closing the route from the Lumpini condominium to the Matchanu intersection from 2 AM to 10 AM or after the last runner has passed.
  • Closing the route from the Chaiyapruek intersection – Jomtien Second Road to Pattaya Beach Road from 2 AM to 10 AM.
  • Closing the route on the inbound side of Sukhumvit Road from the Dolphin roundabout to the Parinya intersection from 3 AM to 7:30 AM or after the last runner has passed.

8. Central Pattaya Road (Car parking is not allowed)

  • Closing the route from the Top Supermarket to Pattaya Beach Road on both lanes from midnight to 11:30 AM.

9. Bali Hai Pier (Car parking is not allowed) all lanes are closed from midnight to 11 AM.

10. Pattaya Third Road (Car parking is not allowed)

  • Closing the route from the Sophon Market intersection to Bali Hai Pier from midnight to 11 AM.

10. Thappraya Road (Car parking is not allowed)

  • Closing one lane from midnight to 11 AM or after the last runner has passed.

11. Jomtien Second Road (Car parking is not allowed)

  • Closing one lane from midnight to 11 AM or after the last runner has passed.

12. Jomtien Beach Road

  • Closing the road from the Lumpini condominium to the Matchanu intersection from midnight to 11 AM  or after the last runner has passed.

13. Sukhumvit Road from the Khao Talo intersection to the Nong Jub Tao intersection (Car parking is not allowed)

  • Closing one lane from midnight to 8:30 AM or after the last runner has passed.
