Pattaya wraps up a successful Pride weekend, Photo tour

Pattaya, Thailand-

Pattaya has wrapped up a successful and busy Pride weekend that saw the city hold successful parades, pageants, and events across the area!

The past weekend brought out members and supporters of the LGBTQ+ community across Thailand, with many coming from Bangkok and more distant provinces, to march and participate in events celebrating equality and pushing for further rights for LGBTQ+ people.

The weekend featured two major parades in Jomtien and Pattaya as well as multiple beauty pageants, concerts, and events including the Miss International Queen 2022 transgender beauty pageant which brought stunning contestants from all around the world.

The weekend also featured street parties and events at both Boyz Town and Jomtien Complex, centerpoints for the LGBTQ+ community in Pattaya. Smiles, laughter, and happiness were seen across the city in what was the largest series of events since New Year’s due to the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration or CCSA calling a pause to events due to Covid-19 concerns from January.

However, events are now clearly back in a big way. Enjoy the photos and see you in Pride Month next year!
