Local motorcyclist killed in road accident after reportedly crashing into road barrier in Pattaya last night

A local motorcyclist was killed after his vehicle reportedly lost its balance and crashed into a road barrier at a U-turn point near the Wave Inn hotel on Sukhumvit road in Banglamung district around midnight of Sunday, June 26th.

Bang Lamung Police Station and rescue volunteers arrived at the scene after being notified of the fatal accident around 12:30 AM. on Sunday.

Upon arrival, a blue-black motorcycle with a Chonburi license plate was found wreaked next to the barrier, presumed to lose its balance and crashed into a cement barrier.

The body of the rider was found lying nearby. From initial examination, he was a Thai man who did not carry an ID card or any identification documents, aged about 30-40 years old.

Initially, no one witnessed the incident. The police would begin checking footage of nearby CCTV to determine the cause of the accident.

The body of the deceased would be transferred to Bang Lamung Hospital while waiting for his relatives to contact the officials.
