4-year-old Thai boy drowns at pool villa in Chonburi

Sattahip, Chonburi —

A 4-year-old Thai boy drowned at a pool villa in Sattahip and died after being submerged for one minute.

At around 8.30 p.m. yesterday, May 29th, the Sawang Rojanathamsathan Rescue Centre responded to a report of a 4-year-old Thai boy who unfortunately passed away after drowning in a pool during his vacation with his family at a pool villa in the Bang Saray sub-district, Sattahip district, Chonburi.

The tragedy happened at a two-story private villa. The boy was reportedly playing by himself at the pool while his family was dining nearby at the back of the house. The boy then fell into the pool and passed away after submerging for one minute. The family then rushed to help after realizing that the boy suspiciously went silent but it was too late.

The boy’s family was in grief about what happened and their names were withheld by The Pattaya News. His body was transferred to a nearby hospital for further religious proceedings.
