At 5.40 a.m. today, May 28th, Pol. Lt. Anand Mahakitasavakul from the Pattaya Police Station responded to a fatal car accident on Pattaya Third Rd.

Police found a black Fortuner with a demolished front and a 24-year-old female driver, Chananan Waewsawat, who was reportedly shocked by what had happened. Five meters from the car, police found a red Honda Scoopy and the male body of the rider, Thirawut Monthong, 28, who sustained multiple serious injuries and died at the accident scene. The woman reportedly refused to give police testimony and avoided questions from local reporters.

The woman also dragged the victim for 5-6 meters, Peeraphon said.
