Pattaya Squid Fair generated over one million in revenue, Pattaya Business and Tourism Association says

Pattaya —

Mr. Boonanan Pattanasin, President of the Pattaya Business and Tourism Association (PBTA), thanked everyone Wednesday, May 3rd, for partaking in the Pattaya Squid Fair, saying it has generated over a million baht in revenue for Pattaya.

Despite a limited budget, the Pattaya Squid Fair was deemed a success by everyone, especially the 30 vendors who earned nearly 30,000-40,000 baht per day,  Mr. Boonanan told TPN reporters.

Furthermore, Mr. Boonanan stated that he was genuinely surprised to see 3,000-4,000 participants each day of the event, which far exceeded his anticipation of only 1,000-2,000 participants despite the fact that Covid-19 restrictions were still in effect. The Pattaya Squid Fair, therefore, has netted over one million in revenue for Pattaya.

The Pattaya Business and Tourism Association concluded that they will continually come up with new events like the Pattaya Squid Fair in the future. In fact, they already have one running called “The Pattaya Morning Drip 2022” — a small event for coffee lovers held every first Sunday of the new month by Cafe and Bistro Club Pattaya.
