Pattaya —

The Pattaya mayoral candidate Mr. Poramase Ngampiches from the Rao Rak (We Love in English) Pattaya team said that he will not participate in the forthcoming mayoral candidate debate on May 7th because he is caught up preparing for a big speech.

Three associations including Pattaya Business and Tourism, Eastern Hotel, and the Pattaya Journalists (Including TPN) will hold a mayoral debate this May 7th. As of now, the three confirmed debaters are Mr. Sakchai Taenghor (independent), Mr. Kittisak Ninwattanatochai or you may know as “Bob” from the Progressive Movement Association, and Mr. Sinchai Watthanasathon from the Pattaya Ruamjai team.

However, the candidate from the Rao Rak Pattaya team, Mr. Poramase “Beer” Ngampiches will not take the stage because he is preparing for a big speech which will take place on May 7th as well, so the debate contradicted with his schedule, according to Mr. Poramase’s statement to local media. He also invited Pattaya residents including foreigners to witness his speech on May 7th, starting at 5.30 p.m.

TPN noted that the organizer will appreciate foreigners’ participation, and foreigners are welcome to express issues in Pattaya during the debate as well.
