Banglamung, Chonburi –

A truck driver miraculously survived after crashing into a six-wheeler and being stuck inside the vehicle on the side of the road in Pong subdistrict, Banglamung district yesterday evening, April 23rd.

Rescue volunteers from Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation arrived on Route 36 after being notified of the road accident around 6:00 PM.

Upon arrival, a black pickup truck with a Rayong license plate was found crashed into the back of a six-wheeler and fallen off onto the side of the road. Under the wrecked pickup truck, driver Prapongpan Kankaew, 24, was found with his legs stuck in the console, but amazingly suffering from only minor injuries.

Rescue workers used a special device to cut parts of the vehicle debris before safely rescuing the driver and rushing him to the nearest hospital.

Six-wheel truck driver Seksan Nahuakon, 38, told the officials that he was returning from Rayong from delivering goods. At the scene of the accident, he overtook an 18-wheel trailer truck and did not notice the black pickup that was coming from another direction. The pickup directly crashed into the back of his vehicle before losing control and falling off the side of the road.
