Chonburi governor personally visits victims of fire at Bang Pla Soi yesterday

The Chonburi governor went to a fire accident scene yesterday, April 22nd, to examine the damage and console the victims.

Around 03.45 P.M. yesterday, Mr. Phakthorn Thienchai, Chonburi Governor, along with Mrs. Supaporn Thienchai, President of the Provincial Red Cross Chapter, visited the victims after a fire broke out at a three-story commercial building on Wachiraprakarn Road, Bang Pla Soi sub-district, Mueang Chonburi district, Chonburi.According to reports from local media, fire fighters, public rescuers, and volunteers rushed to the fire with eight fire trucks, one bucket truck, and five ambulances to rescue the residents and put out the fire. At 10.10 PM, the fire was reportedly brought under control and totally extinguished at 10.30 PM.

However, the fire had cost the life of Mr. Attaphon Wongsamut, a 38-year-old resident of the building. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
