One person dead, two people injured after food delivery rider crashes into a couple on a motorbike in Pattaya

Pattaya –

  One person died while two people have sustained injuries after a food delivery rider crashed into a couple riding a second motorbike in Pattaya last night (March 27th).

The Pattaya City Police were notified of the accident at 9:00 P.M. in Soi Phra Tumnak 6 in Nongprue.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find two damaged motorbikes lying on the road. The two injured people were identified as Mr. Maymanee Buranasin, 24, a food delivery rider, and Mr. Eakkarat Kamlar, 46. They were taken to a local hospital. Ms. Wan Kanhayothin, 36, had been pronouced dead at the scene.

A witness, Ms. Nichapa Kaikokgruad, 34, told TPN media, “I was walking nearby and heard a loud crashing noise. The food delivery rider was turning while the other motorbike was coming on a straight way. It was unclear, however, exactly who was at fault. I immediately called emergency services and stayed with the injured to wait for police and rescuers.”

Police are checking CCTV footage nearby to find the exact cause of the accident for further potential legal action but as of press time had not filed any charges.
