Sri Racha –

A local driver survived a harrowing incident when a bullet pierced through his passenger side window while he was driving a trailer truck in Sri Racha Friday (March 18th).

The Nong Kham Police was notified of the incident on Motorway Frontage Road in the Nong Kham sub-district around 3:00 P.M.

The first response teams arrived at the scene to find the parked trailer truck. A bullet hole was found at the trailer truck glass window.

The driver, Mr. Kittisak Jeewern, told Nong Kham police, “Someone inside a sedan which was driving alongside my truck fired a gun shot into my passenger side window. I have no idea what happened. I drove at about 60 kilometers per hour and I was driving very nice. I have no problems with anyone and keep to myself. ”

“I was very lucky that the bullet did not hit me. If I had a passenger, the bullet might have hit the passenger.” Kittisak stated.

Police are hunting for the suspect who opened fire in public and believe that despite Kittisak’s statements the incident may have been due to “road rage”.
