Pattaya Police raid a birthday party for illegal drugs, over 20 people arrested

  The Superintendent of the Pattaya City Police Department led a raid yesterday afternoon on what appeared to be a “Happy Water” drug party for a birthday at a luxurious villa in the heart of Pattaya city and arrested over 20 people.

Yesterday, March 18th, 2022, Superintendent Mr. Kulachat Kulchai, Narcotics Suppression Bureau, and many other involved officers went on an anti-drug operation after a tip from a concerned citizen and broke down a “Happy Water” drug party at a luxurious villa located in Chaiyapruek alley, Nong Prue subdistrict, Bang Lamung, Chonburi, with over 20 accused addicted partiers arrested (teenage males and females). A number of addictive substances including Happy Water (A special powder mixed with liquor that is popular in China), methamphetamine, and ketamine were present at the scene, according to Kulachat.

Mr. Kulachat revealed to the press that this operation was in accordance with the policy of the Royal Thai Police to eliminate all forms of crimes in the area and his crew had previously arrested a group of online gambling scammers residing in the same area.
