Pattaya police once again crack down on motorbike racers

Pattaya Police have continued to crack down on motorbike racers in Pattaya, following numerous complaints from local residents about both noise and dangerous driving.

The Pattaya City Police reports that Pattaya City Police Chief Colonel Kunlachart Kunlachai has ordered to continue crackdown on motorbike racers in Pattaya.

Last night (March 6th) they were notified that many motorbike racers from Nakhon Racthasima were gathering in the Pattaya area.

Police reported through their social media accounts that they detained a total of seven motorbike racers and one car. Drivers were unable to present their vehicle’s documents to police. They were taken to the Pattaya City Police and their vehicles were seized for further legal action.

Pattaya City Police Chief Kunlachart stated that complaints about street racing had increased locally and he was ensuring that it was a top priority for his officers to stop the illegal and dangerous activity, saying it saves lives.
