35-year-old man seriously injured after a two truck collision in the Pattaya area

Pattaya –

A 35-year-old man has sustained serious injuries after he crashed his pickup truck into a trailer truck in Banglamung last night (February 25th).

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 11:00 P.M. on Number 36 Road (Pattaya – Rayong bypass road) in the Nong Plalai sub-district.

The first response teams arrived at the scene to find the severely damaged pickup truck on the road. The driver, Mr. Pongpat Takhoat, 35, had sustained severe injuries and was stuck inside the cab. Rescue workers used a hydraulic cutter to free him and he was rushed to a local hospital.

The trailer truck driver, Mr. Suphon Krobklang, 57, told TPN media, “I was making a U-turn. I did not see the pickup truck which was coming from the straight away.”

Police were set to examine CCTV at the scene find the cause of the accident for further potential legal action.
