Passenger seriously injured after sedan crashes into a pickup truck in Chonburi

Chonburi –

A passenger has sustained severe injuries after a sedan crashed into a pickup truck in the Mueang Chonburi district.

The Mueang Chonburi Police was notified of the accident on Tuesday (February 22nd) in Soi Khao Noi, Baan Suan sub-district.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a overturned sedan and a damaged pickup truck on the road.

Three people were found inside the sedan. One of them had sustained severe injuries who was identified as Ms. Rattanawadee Wiriyarattanaphon, 20. They were all taken to a local hospital.

The sedan driver, Mr. Rangsan Kamhom, 21, told local press, “There was a pickup truck from the opposite lane about to collide with my sedan. I tried to avoid the collision but crashed into a parked pickup truck and overturned. ”

Police are checking CCTV footage nearby to find the exact cause of accident for legal processing.
