Motorbike rider dies after colliding with a pickup truck in Chonburi

Chonburi –

A young man has been pronounced dead at the scene after his motorbike collided with a pickup truck in the Mueang Chonburi district.

The Don Hualor Police was notified of the accident on the Sattaphong – Don Hualor Road in the Don Hualor sub-district.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the body of Mr. Kietisak Sanenok, 22. Nearby, officers found the damaged motorbike and the pickup truck.

The pickup truck driver, Mr. Smit Ngampream, 32, told the associated Thai press, “The motorbike driver was in the opposite lane and tried to overtake another vehicle but crashed into my pickup truck.”

Police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact sequence of events.
