Thai Vietjet to increase Domestic Flight Frequency

(Bangkok, February 1, 2022) – In response to the increasing domestic travel demand, Thai Vietjet has increased the flight frequency for its domestic services, starting from February 1, 2021.

From February onwards, the airline shall increase domestic flight frequency for its domestic services, both to/from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and cross-regional services, with the following details:

Bangkok – Phuket 8 Flights/Day Everyday
Bangkok – Udon Thani 5 Flights/Day Everyday
Bangkok – Khon Kaen 4 Flights/Day Everyday
Bangkok – Nakhon Si Thammarat 3 Flight/Day Everyday
Phuket – Chiang Mai 1 Flight/Day* Everyday

*Remark: The flight frequency of the Phuket – Chiang Mai service shall be increased to 5 flights/week from February 5, 2022, and shall be increased to 7 flights/week (1 flight daily) from February 15, 2022.

Recently, the airline announced the launch of its new domestic cross-regional service connecting Phuket and Udon Thani, offering its passengers more flexibility and opportunity for travel. In the early stage, the new service Phuket – Udon Thani is scheduled to commence on February 18, 2022, with a frequency of 3 flights (round-trip) per week on every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Apart from the newly introduced cross-regional service Phuket – Udon Thani, the airline operates cross-regional services connecting Phuket with Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, also the direct flight from Hat Yai to Chiang Rai.
