Banglamung –

Three people have sustained injuries after their motorbike sidecar crashed into a pickup truck, whose driver later sped away, in Banglamung yesterday (January 26th).

Emergency responders were notified of the accident near the entrance of the Soi Boon Sampan Temple in Nongprue.

The first response teams arrived at the scene to find a heavily damaged motorbike sidecar lying on the road. Three people had sustained injuries, two men and a young boy, who were rushed to a local hospital.

Witnesses claimed the pickup truck driver, who was driving at high speed, immediately turned into a Soi in front of the motorbike sidecar before the crash without using turn signals or giving proper way to traffic. The pickup truck driver immediately sped away according to witnesses without checking on the health and status of the injured people from the sidecar.

Banglamung Police are checking CCTV footage nearby to attempt to find the pickup truck driver for further legal action.
